You hire me, and I write the code.

I am Luis Metzger. I build the software your business runs on and the visuals that sell it: web and mobile apps, AI tools, brand motion, and photoreal renderings. You work directly with me from the first call to launch.

Every price is published. No call required to see a number.

What I do

Seven services. One engineer.

Each one links to exactly what you get, how it runs, and what it costs.

01 / 07Fractional CTO · $3.5K / $6.5K / $9K per month
Every route drawn, one of them taken. The alternatives stay on the page so you can overrule the call knowingly.

Fractional CTO

A part-time head of engineering: technical decisions, hiring, and code review, without the full-time salary.

Who books this
  • You have engineers but nobody senior enough to set technical direction
  • You are about to raise, and the technical diligence would not go well today

Read · Assess · Roadmap · Ongoing

02 / 07Web app MVP · $25K–$75K
The grid goes down first, then everything that sits on it. Same order this site was built in.

Web applications

The first version real users can pay for, built so the second version does not start over.

Who books this
  • You have validated the problem and need the product built properly
  • You have a prototype that got you here and will not get you further

Scope · Architect · Deploy · Test · Handover

03 / 07Mobile app · $35K–$100K
Each platform gets the chrome it expects. New builds go to a tenth of your users first, so a bad one is a bad morning rather than a bad week.

Mobile applications

Native iOS and Android, built correctly for each platform and each store.

Who books this
  • Your customers are asking for an app and the mobile web experience is not enough
  • You need offline behavior that a web app genuinely cannot give you

Decide · Platform · Build · Offline · Ship

04 / 07Marketing site · $6K–$15K
Structure first, then the page it produces. The marked block is one your team can change without emailing me about it.

Marketing sites

A fast, accessible site that ranks, and that you can edit yourself.

Who books this
  • Your site is slow and you have been told that costs you customers
  • Every copy change requires emailing an agency

Copy · Build · CMS · Measure

05 / 07AI integration sprint · $6K
A question hits the index and three chunks come back. Everything the model can call on the other side is typed and validated first.

AI integration

AI that answers questions from your own data and takes real work off your team, built into your product.

Who books this
  • You have a corpus your customers keep asking questions about
  • Your team is copying and pasting between a chat window and your admin panel

Sprint · Evaluate · Build · Red-team

06 / 07Time and materials · $150–$185 per hour
Delivered0:15 · 1280x720 · 3.6MB
Brand motion piece for Renegade Burrito: the mark set in motion for social and in-store screens.

Branding and motion

Logo animation, brand films, and motion graphics your site and your socials can actually use.

Who books this
  • You have a logo and a name, and nothing that moves
  • Your social posts are still images in a feed built for video

Brief · Boards · Generate · Finish · Deliver

07 / 07Time and materials · $150–$185 per hour
Concept0:05 · 1280x960 · 1.0MB
The kitchen rendering set in motion: a camera move animated from the same still a builder approves. AI rendering in motion.

AI renderings

Photoreal renderings of planned work, so a renovation, a property, or a vehicle can be seen before money is committed to it.

Who books this
  • You are a contractor or designer whose clients cannot picture the finished job from a quote
  • You are listing a property that shows better finished than it stands today

Photos · Plan · Render · Revise · Deliver

Not sure which of these fits? Book 20 minutes and I will tell you, even if the answer is that you do not need me yet.

How I work

The rate reflects missing overhead, not missing seniority.

I cost less than an agency because there is no account manager, no project manager, no sales team, and no markup on subcontracted work. You are paying for the engineer, and the engineer is the person you spoke to.

YouThe engineer

An agency

Here

Nothing in between

There is no number in this drawing and there could not honestly be one: I do not know what any particular agency charges. What I know is how many things sit between a client and the person writing the code. Both rows run the same distance between the same two people, drawn the same way at both ends, because that is the half of the sentence everybody skips.
Scaling up

And when the work is bigger than me

I bring in senior engineers I have worked with before, or I slot into the team you already have. Scaling up does not mean handing you to someone else: I stay responsible for direction and quality, and you keep dealing with me.

Continuity

And if I get hit by a bus?

Every statement of work includes a written continuity plan. The architecture is documented as it is built, not reconstructed afterward. The same bench I scale with is the bench that covers you if I am unavailable.

The whole engagement, from the first conversation to handover, is written down on the process page.

Everything else I offer

Three more ways to hire me.

  • Technical audit$5K–$12K

A senior read of what you already have, and a straight list of what to do about it.

  • AI build$10K–$40K

The assistant or agent from the sprint, made production grade.

  • Care plan$500 / $1.2K / $2.5K per month

Someone who already knows your system, on the hook when it breaks.

These are the engagements that do not belong to any one service: a second opinion on what you already have, the production build that follows a sprint, and the retainer that keeps a shipped thing healthy.

If you are not sure where to start, start with the audit. It prices the risk before you commit to anything bigger, and what you pay for it comes off the first build.
